Galvanized pipes are no longer an effective sanitation solution for homes. Too many people do not take the time to realize what they have to do, or they see the exterior of the tube and assume that everything is in order.
It is true that it is not for home use because Galvanized pipes which are made from expanded metal are typically used for the transportation of water or other low pressure liquids. The galvanized pipes generally last about 50 years.
I am an Energetics supporter, and believe that I built one prove that Energetics and Odum theory, applies not only in the Ecological systems but in Fluid Mechanics systems,too.
Somebody, one day, will prove that the "expansion" of the Universe is following the Maximum Power Principles.
